Objective:
To help youth and young adults who aspire in writing
careers discover their potential. to assist in the
development of their skills, and creativity in literary
composition as well as advising them in the preparation
of their manuscripts for publication; this in turn
will identify COGOC writers who may contribute to
the church's literary ministry.
Candidates:
The target group for this ministry will be all youth
and young adults ages 5
- 22
Who can help:
Individuals with experience or training as educators,
writers, poets, or journalist; Volunteers will assist
in room set-up and preparation.
Who
is eligible?:
Individuals who desire to improve
their writing skills.
Materials
Needed:
Writing exercises will require
a quiet area Smooth surfaced tables and adequate lighting
Paper, Pens or pencils.
Awards:
Ribbons, trophies
and certificates will serve as the appropriate method
of awarding this population of participants.
